What is a canid?

​Any of a family (Canidae) of carnivorous animals that includes wolves, jackals, foxes, coyotes, and the domestic dog.
Ohio Canid Center's mission is to promote the conservation of and coexistence with wolves and other wild canine species. This is done through educational programming and other experiences with our socialized and trained ambassador animals.
